Goizper is a leading company when it comes to providing differentiated solutions for power transmission components and has the most complete range of combined and separate hydraulic brakes and clutches.
The fields of application for the range of hydraulic brakes and clutches are diverse: machinery for metal cutting and forming (presses, shears, folding machines, etc.), in the field of construction, marine, cranes, agricultural tractors etc. The clutch brakes are systems with a dual function of braking and clutch engagement, where both functions cannot be activated at the same time. Depending on the needs and requirements of each customer, we offer combined, multi-disc, safety, etc.
Combined hydraulic clutch brakes are used in particular in machines that require high speeds and precise and fast starting and stopping manoeuvres. The application of the clutch-brake provides advantages in terms of quiet operation, low inertia, energy savings and minimum maintenance.
GOIZPER clutch-brake units are designed to operate with oil at a nominal pressure of 60 bar in the drive circuit and with a forced internal cooling circuit (if no other specifications are laid down). The main purpose of the cooling oil circulating through the plates on both sides (clutch and brake) is to absorb and dissipate the heat produced between the plates.
It is the clutches that transmit torque from one axle to another by means of friction between their inner and outer discs. The tightening of these discs and thus the clutch engagement is achieved by means of pressurised oil.
This is the "clutch only" version of the hydraulic clutch-brake. Like the 6.32 series, they transmit torque from axle to axle by means of friction between their inner and outer discs when subjected to pressurised oil.
With these brakes, braking only occurs when there is no oil pressure, either because the pressure is removed voluntarily or by accident. This is why they are also known as safety or negative brakes.

These safety brakes are normally used on servo presses. They provide the ability to stop the press at maximum speed and ensure the safety of the operator. Thanks to the Goizper control valve, reaction times are fast, thus achieving optimum braking times.
The clearance of these brakes is almost zero, thus eliminating any angular displacement. The mounting is normally done at the tip of the axle.

They have an interface that is suitable for the most common servo motors and are usually mounted between the motor and the frame.
